As smart TV’s become more popular, many still struggle with setting them up. After hearing stories of people being so frustrated with the process of setting up their smart television they actually return them, I decided to give it a try myself. And immediately I noticed the difference between setting up a smart TV as opposed a regular one.

The process is much more tenuous and requires your full attention. They want email addresses, wifi passwords and all. But for me it was fairly easy as I have the technical knowledge to tackle these tasks. 

Being a True Cord Cutter my goal is to save as much money on entertainment as possibly for 10 years, but to tackle this task and problem that others were having I opted to go out and buy a Smart TV. My normal setup is a converter box and a few apps I stream from my phone to my fire stick. 

Why do this you might ask. Well after working nearly 10 years as a satellite technician and leaving the field I found that helping people solve issues is the part I enjoyed.
