Eero is a whole home wifi system. Unlike traditional routers that tend to lose signal when objects like walls are in the way or in situations where your router is in the basement and you’re on the third floor. Eero claims to be the solution to these problems. Keep in mind that Eero doesn’t replace your cable or satellite modem, it is meant to replace your current router and maintain a better and consistent wifi signal.
Eero Setup Process
First connect the main Eero to your existing modem
Setup your wifi such as passwords etc using the app, and then from there connect to your desktop or wifi devices.
It has what they call “Truemesh” technology, which unlike regular mesh (wmn) it allows the Eeros placed at various locations in your home to communicate with each other by hopping around walls and down hallways in different directions while most other routers only hop once in any direction. Truemesh will aslo calculate the signal strength between the Eeros and connect you to the strongest signal without any interruption.
With a 4.6 out of 5 star Amazon rating and over 1500 reviews this device is sure to please I’m looking forward to doing a full product review in the future.
