Sling TV vs. Philo TV- Which is Better

Otantenna Streaming Wars begin with a face off between the top 2 cheapest streaming platforms, Philo and Sling TV. To kick things off let’s start with an overview of each service before we get into the specifics.

Philo TV:

Sling TV:

3 U.S. packages, they have Spanish and International packages as well.

Sling TV gives you way more options including local channels, but at a slightly higher cost. If Philo has all the channels you need I would recommend getting an over the air HD antenna to pull in your local stations. That way you save the most money and still get all the channels you desire. If you need a DVR there are devices out that allow you to record Live local stations without a monthly fee. (Tivo, AirTV 2, Channel Master, ECT)
