Finding settings on your Roku player can be frustrating at times and one of the main features streamers look for is closed caption. There are 2 ways to change your closed caption settings. (*Pro Tip- It’s best to change the closed caption settings while in a streaming service because those settings will be more tailored to your liking), but you can also change the ‘main’ closed caption settings in Roku’s settings menu.

Go to ‘settings’ menu then click on ‘accessibility’, in this menu you’ll see an option for captions mode. choose the setting you like.

While streaming from any channel press the pause button and at the bottom of the screen you’ll see a sub-menu. From here you’ll scroll over to the settings you want to change. Changing your closed caption while streaming gives you a lot more options.
