Metro PCS has long been the underdog in the cell service world ever since they launched. Many people see them as the “cheap” service, sorta how Iphone users view Android phone users.
At the beginning the service had very limited coverage. I can remember traveling to Wisconsin back in 2009 and not having any coverage. I had to purchase a minute phone the whole trip to stay in touch with family. But a lot has changed since then, their service has expanded to cover over 300 million Americans.
In 2018 the company re-branded as Metro by T-Mobile offering free 100GB Google One storage and Amazon Prime memberships. They note that Amazon is not a sponsor of this deal so they are flipping the bill. The Prime membership gives you access to Prime benefits such as music, free 2-days shipping, Kindle Unlimited and Prime videos. Looking at the offers, it’s funny seeing a Google and Amazon product being offered as one in the same space.
The $40 plan gives you free access to Music Unlimited and 10GB of high speed data
The $50 unlimited plan gives you free access to Cloud One and 5GB of hotspot data.
The $60 unlimited plan gives you free access to Amazon Prime, Cloud One and 15GB of hotspot data.
The cool thing about Metro is that there are no overage or hidden fees and taxes are included in the monthly cost.
