I first reviewed IMDb TV back in January 2019 and back then they were a fairly new service. At launch IMDb TV went by the Name IMDb Freedive and offered features no other streaming service had. Paid or free.
IMDb TV is a free ad-supported platform offered by tech giant Amazon. The service is available on various streaming devices and smart tv’s, which includes:
- Roku
- Android TV
- LG smart tv’s
- Google Play
- Apple App Store
Users can also access IMDb TV’s content through the IMDb website and mobile app. Though their app or service isn’t available on every device, users can access IMDB’s content through the Prime Video app which is available on most platforms. This expands their reach to every cord cutter device on the market. Of course, you’ll need to have a Prime Video membership to do this. Content can also be streamed wirelessly to your television using Google Chromecast.
