It’s no secret that Fire TV and Roku are the top dogs when it comes to hosting streaming content. And with more and more streaming services becoming available more people are buying streaming players. With Fire TV and Roku Inc, being the top ones.
Even though Roku has been around longer than Fire TV, Amazon has managed to gain a slight lead in subscribers most likely due to Amazon’s other services such as Prime. Lets face it, when you already have an account somewhere you’re more likely to sign up to other services with that same company. And Amazon’s devices aren’t limited like Roku’s devices are. Such as bluetooth pairing and developer options.
