You have every cord cutting app available and one of the biggest perks is the bluetooth connectivity which when paired with a headset allows you to watch tv without disturbing others. The interface is user friendly making it extremely easy to find the programming you want to watch. The only drawback is that the remote for the base model doesn’t control the TV volume and power, you’ll have to purchase a separate accessory for that.
Roku Ultra
Though Roku makes other streaming devices, I found that the Roku Ultra is the perfect cord cutter device. The interface is user friendly and can be personalized with custom themes and screensavers. It’s easy to find the content you need to watch. At first it seems similar to the fire stick but I assure you that it’s not. The minor con is that it doesn’t have bluetooth.
Android Box
There are tons of Android streaming boxes to choose from some popular and some not so. They have every option that an android phone has and you have access to the google play store which the Roku player also has. They also have media players and bluetooth. Keep in mind that all models are not made for cord cutting. The Nvidia Shield of course is the best option for cord cutters and gamers.
