Residents of Mobile Alabama and Pensacola Florida can now access Next Gen content from six major networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, MyNet and IND.

ATSC 3.0 is still in the beginning stages so advanced features like mobile viewing and on-demand aren’t available and could take a few more years.

The new format will not affect current satellite and cable tv users and although participating stations have ensured that programming will remain available to all viewers, antenna users may need to rescan their channels to see the changes.
