It’s become apparent that no matter where you go to watch content there’s going to be contract disputes and price increases. But the question is, who’s to blame? Content Makers pin the blame on content holders and vice versa. It’s like watching an episode of Judge Judy. Who can we trust?

In a recent TechCrunch article on the 2021 Roku and YouTube TV contract dispute, there was a quick mention of how Roku denied the claims that YouTube TV was telling their customers and YouTube TV was denying Roku’s claims. But wait, SOMEONE IS LYING TO US!

Who should you trust…? I was unable to find a webpage or social media post from Roku on the dispute, only statements released through other blog sites. However I was able to find a direct statement from YouTube TV on the dispute. I mention this because this is the same pattern we see when companies like Sinclair Broadcasting Groups pulls channels off of Dish. The Content Maker (Sinclair) doesn’t give use any details but the content holder does. Why is that?
