TiVo has finally given it’s loyal customers a solution to the infamous remote programming issue.

The latest update allows Stream 4k users to easily program their remote using an on-screen setup process. Before this wasn’t the case, in fact at launch there were no instructions what so ever on how to program the remote to a television or even a sound system.

About 1 month after its release and tons of customer complaints, TiVo surveyed its customers asking what we like and dislike about the streaming device. A month later the update came.

I credit TiVo for being proactive and resolving the issue but this one was a no brainer.
