Smart tv’s are the perfect companion for cord cutters, but unlike streaming devices smart tv users can also watch free over-the-air channels. They are, without doubt the number 1 streaming device, but there are some cons.

One con is that smart tv’s don’t have access to every popular streaming service like a Roku or Fire Stick would have. Another con is that smart tv’s key response tends to be slower than that of streaming devices. For example; if you press a button on the remote, the smart tv would have a noticeable lag to perform the action.

But the pros far outweigh the cons. 1 con is that you have everything in one place. There’s no need to purchase a separate device or have extra remotes. Plus most smart tv’s have all of the popular streaming apps like, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Philo and YouTube TV. These services in addition to an o-t-a antenna makes smart tv’s a viable option for money saving cord cutters.
