HD television is becoming more and more popular. With the average cable bill being over $100 it seems to be a no brainer. Most people aren’t familiar with over-the-air television and don’t know that there are more options than you realize.

Popular devices such as DVRs are available with free television, most with no monthly fees. But if you want to get into more high tech features like watching your recorded programs from anywhere there are devices for that, with monthly fees of course. Most pay television companies are noticing the switch consumers are making to streaming and over-the-air and are adding services to keep up with todays market. Which makes sense.

The future of pay television is definitely uncertain and over-the-air networks are adding channels that are very similar to the ones we watch on cable. Like ‘THE JUSTICE NETWORK’ which is similar to the ID Channel and TRU TV. With numerous more to name. Not to mention popular shows from as far back as the 60s.

Antennas

With a high definition television antenna the only cost you pay is for the equipment. Lets look at some price configurations with HD antenna television.

Your antenna needs will vary depending on your distance from each broadcast tower. An outdoor or in attic antenna is best for homes because they usually have existing wiring from a main junction point in the house, and provide the best reception when installed at the highest point on your property. These can start at $40 and go up from there.

For apartments or any property with mounting restrictions an indoor antenna would work just as well as an outdoor antenna. They are easy to setup and don’t require any special tools or skills.

CONVERTER BOXES

There are a wide variety of converter box options. Along with your standard digital versions many newer versions have media player and DVRs. Some with internal memory and some without, either way you save because most don’t have monthly fees. Some companies do offer a paid service for the ability to watch your recordings anywhere and to have a more in depth program guide.

Whats up this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
