Struum, the Dave and Busters of streaming came onto my radar back in January of 2021, right around the time the service launched. For those who don’t know about my Dave and Busters analogy, I came up with it because Struum is a pay to play streaming service. Meaning you pay for credits and use those credits to watch content. But still there is a monthly subscription fee.

Struum offers content form various streaming services, they do not create content themselves. Currently Struum offers movies, tv shows, docs and shorts from over 30 providers and when I cross referenced their content, most of it is only available on other paid streaming services like HBO Max, Magellan TV, etc. This means you can save money with Struum if the content suites your needs.
Amazon Click- Best SellersAfter over a year of checking in on the streaming service the content really hasn’t changed to my liking. Not to say the content is bad, they do have big name actors plus it’s always fun to browse a streaming service for something new and different. But I feel like I get more from free platforms like Pluto and Tubi. Even Distro TV. Also Struum is an on-demand only platform meaning no local news, movie channels or add-ons. Similar to Netflix but without the depth of content.
Priced at only $4.99 per month is reasonable but for me it’s not worth it is there’s nothing to watch. Device availability remains the same, they are available on most cord cutter platforms except for smart tv’s. For more on Struum visit their website @ Struum.com.
