Xcinex wants to change the way we watch movies by bringing the theater experience to you. Skipping lines, drive time and frustrations of finding a parking spot is what Venue by Xcinex is all about.
On the surface this seems like a far fetched, pre-Covid idea but after digging deeper into everything Venue has to offer, I found that Venue isn’t looking to replace your streaming experience, they’re looking to replace your venue experience.
Whether it be a sporting event, concert, comedy show, conference or even a one on one talk or training session with your favorite actor or athlete, Venue puts you in the front row.
How Venue Works
Venue plugs directly into your tv via HDMI. When you buy tickets to an event, Venue detects the number of people in the room and if more people are in the room than tickets purchased, the content will pause until the ticket count equals viewer count.
Venue comes pre-installed with apps like Netflix, HBO Max, Peacock, YouTube TV, Spotify, Stadia, Zoom, fubo tv and more. Person detection only applies to special events and new movie releases.
Other features include bluetooth 5.0, game play, 4k ultra HDR and video calling.
Venue will launch in Spring of 2021 and is currently available for pre-order through their Indiegogo campaign. Their target of $5,000 has already been reached but there are still spots left.
