Wyze Labs Inc, recently announced that the long awaited Wyze Cam v3 is available to pre-order.

Wyze is known for giving customers high quality products at affordable prices. That’s proving by looking at their customer reviews. Wyze averages a 4.0 star rating across all combined devices.

v3 and v2 night vision

Wyze Cam v3 brings in a few more features than v2 and recently released Wyze Cam Outdoor. One being better night vision range and better picture quality.

Each of those devices serve a purpose in their own right, but to put it lightly. V3 does what they do, but slightly better.

The key question is, for what purpose will this camera serve you? Wyze doesn’t make new cameras to replace older ones. They make new cameras for different purposes.

V3 is an everything camera. You can use it indoors, outdoor, as a baby monitor, security camera, nature cam, and porch cam.

Specs and Features

Equipped with starlight sensors for improved night vision giving you the ability to see in full color at night, indoors and out.

IP65 water resistant means you’re protected from most weather conditions including dust storms.

Connects to 2.4 GHz only. Most security cameras operate at this frequency, but I do suspect that whenever they make their ‘breakout’ camera it will have 5GHz capability.

80 db waterproof speaker with 2 way communications and siren. Great for deterring unwanted visitors.

Higher frame rates than v2. 20fps in the daytime and 15fps at night. This produces a smoother looking picture quality.

Wyze Cam v3 starts shipping in November but you can pre-order now. The cost is only $19.99 with free shipping on orders over $33.

Accessories for this camera are said to be announced in the near future and I will keep you updated, so check back.
